Support Group for the Single Parent | Are you tackling parenting on your own? Do you feel isolated and alone? Here is your chance to meet other single parents, discuss the challenges, and create new solutions. The Courage to be a Stepmom Support Group | Are you new to being a stepmother? Are you confused about your role as a stepmother? You are not alone. This group utilizes the book "The Courage to be a Stepmom: Finding Your Place without Losing Yourself" by Susan Patton Thoele. A Multiple Family Group Therapy for At Risk Adolescents and Their Families | This is a multi-family group that provides families with the opportunity to learn, share, and gain the tools and skills they need to get back on track as a family. This goals of this group are to: 1) validate every family member's experience, 2) Learn tools and gain insight from each other and from the psycho-educational component of the program 3) To develop a Relapse Prevention Plan to provide a structure to help maintain the gains made from this group. E- Course:
Stepfamily Living Part One: This 9 day e-course identifies the three major challenges that stepfamilies face. It explores the different losses that all members of stepfamilies go through and the different stages of grief that may follow. This e-course also explores unrealistic expectations and roles and relationships and helps to form realistic ones. Parents are also encouraged to consider their parenting styles and to explore how to utilize different techniques for disciplining in order for their to be mutual respect. This 6 Part series are 8-9 days of lessons that are delivered straight to your email.
